The Century City Conference Centre is located in the Century City precinct surrounding the Canal Walk Shopping Centre. This is a high security precinct with a wide range of hotels, restaurants and shops within close walking distance of the Conference Centre. It is not necessary to hire a car for the duration of RISE Africa, and we recommend the use of public transport and other sustainable mobility options wherever possible.
Most guests will be staying at The Century City Hotel. Spaces are limited so if this is fully booked there is a wide range of other accommodation options within safe walking distance of the Century City Conference Centre:

Century City can be reached via a variety of public transport options. The precinct has two public transport interchanges for buses and minibus taxis nearby, one off Ratanga Road and another off Century Avenue. The closest train station is 1km away from the Century City Conference Centre.
MyCiTi Bus Service:
The MyCiTi bus can be used to travel to Century City from Cape Town CBD, and between Cape Town International Airport and the CBD. There is also a MyCiti bus route between the Century City Railway Station and Century City. The closest MyCiti bus stops to the Century City Conference Centre are ‘Cape Town Bridgeway’ and ‘Cape Town Grand Canal’, located less than 300m away. In order to use the MyCiti buses, a myconnect card will need to be purchased. These are available for R35 at the MyCiti kiosk at Cape Town International airport and other retailers.
